22” PETIT & DUMONTIER BEBE. This rare French Bebe has threaded blue paperweight eyes and is on a jointed French composition body with metal hands. The head is marked on rear “P.4.D”. This Bebe’s sorrow is that she has had restoration to her head. This doll is dressed in maroon corduroy dress with sandy blonde mohair wig and antique shoes. CONDITION: Restoration to head appears to be extensive in the forehead and eye area, however, the doll is still quite presentable and pretty. 1-781 JL79 (2,500-3,000)
