TIFFANY STUDIOS DOUBLE STUDENT LAMP. Lamp begins with two nicely matched green Damascene shades that are gently ribbed and have a platinum wave design on a green shaded ground. The shades are finished with cased liners. These shades are extremely well matched and appear to have started life together. Supporting these two shades is a bronze student base of simple art nouveau styling. The base has a telescoping feature and carries a nice patina finish. One shade is signed “LCT” and the other “LCT Favrile”. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 28592” and has the Glass and Decorating logo. SIZE: Each shade 2-1/4” fitter x 7” dia. Lamp 19-1/2” t. overall. CONDITION: Minor roughness to both shade rims, hairline with open bubble to one interior lining which does not extend to the outer layer of glass. 9-97784 (3,000-5,000)
