DAUM EWER WITH APPLIED INSECTS. Daum ewer has internally decorated body with mottled colors of yellow, green and cream and is finished with an applied glass handle. The ewer is decorated with four wonderful applied glass insects with foil inclusions and wheel-carved colored wings. Each insect has legs and feelers carved into the body of the ewer, which is further decorated with random patches of martele carving. Signed on the side with engraved signature “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 9-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-66654 (2,500-3,500)
