REGENCY MAHOGANY SERVING TABLE. First quarter 19th century, England. The shaped three-quarter dovetailed gallery fitted to the conforming top with reeded D-form front edge above the conforming frieze fitted with a pair of aligned thumb-molded drawers centering a rectangular panel, all with ebony stringing. Raised on tapering cylindrical ring and bobbin-turned legs with ringed cuffs. SIZE: 39″ h overall x 42″ w x 18-3/4″ d. Height of work surface: 29-1/2″. PROVENANCE: From the private collection and estate of Robert Nugent, Glenridge, NJ. CONDITION: Very good with early if not original surfaces, brass knobs of the period in original holes. Small veneer repairs at both front corners of table. 9-28215 (500-700)
