CHIPPENDALE MAHOGANY BREAKFAST TABLE. Second half 18th century, Boston, Massachusetts. The rectangular figured top with conforming hinged leaves projecting above the scalloped apron raised on cabriole legs with shaped returns terminating in boldly carved high ball and talon feet. SIZE: 28-1/4″ h x 35-1/2″ l x 13-1/2″ w closed. CONDITION: With old surfaces, good patina, one leg repaired at apron and missing return, otherwise good. 9-29072 (4,000-6,000)
