FINE INLAID MAHOGANY BANJO BAROMETER. 19th century, England. A mahogany wheel barometer marked “F. Salteri Nottingham”, with silvered dial, within a brass bezel, and boxed thermometer on silvered gauge. The case inlaid with oval paterae and roundels and with broken architectural pediment with urn finial. SIZE: 39″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection and estate of Robert Nugent, Glenridge, New Jersey. CONDITION: Very good overall. Barometer tube intact. 9-28243 (300-500)
