MOLDED REDWARE PITCHER, ATT. TO SOLOMON BELL. Mid-19th century, Virginia. This fine example with molded seated figure inclined slightly forward, right hand at mouth, left hand extended in front of body holding a vessel; this design repeated within four panels. High glaze overall; light brown coloration with marbleized manganese highlights. SIZE: 9” h. CONDITION: Structurally very good, with old chips on upper and base rims, normal and expected wear at midpoint of pitcher. 9-99766 (1,000-1,400)
