FINE QUEEN ANNE CHERRY TILT TOP TEA TABLE. Second half 18th century, Connecticut River Valley. The Chapin school, Eliphalet Chapin. The circular one board top hinged and tilting on a baluster turned standard with suppressed ball raised on a tripod base of cabriole legs terminating in platform slipper feet. SIZE: 27-3/4″ h. 21-3/4″ dia. CONDITION: Structurally very good, top with cleaned old surfaces, table base retains original surfaces and dark color and patina. Very good overall. 9-29048 (500-800)
