ALBERT DICKERMAN (American, 1840-1917) “ELSINORE LAKE AND VILLAGE AND SAN JACINTO MOUNTAIN, CALIFORNIA”. Large oil on canvas colorful California landscape shows a lake with sailboat having a backdrop of a large town with homes, churches and large buildings at the base of a mountain range. The center mountain being snow capped. The foreground shows a small cabin under lush tropical trees and palms. The sky graduates from a medium blue to light pink and white. Signed lower right “Albert Dickerman 1901″. Housed in its magnificent wide and deep original frame with leaf and flower design. Titled and inscribed on reverse. On reverse of canvas a window has been created to see the original inscriptions. SIZE: 36″ x 60-1/2”. CONDITION: Very good, relined with some inpainting. 9-96831 (7,000-12,000)
