A. STEWART (American, 19th Century) STILL LIFE OF ZINNIAS. Fine oil on canvas still life scene shows a flower arrangement of colorful zinnias on a green surface. The flowers are lit up from the left side while darkness encompasses the rest of the image. Very nicely done. Signed lower right with the first name starting with “Ad” possibly the middle initial “K” and the last name “Stewart”. Housed in its original magnificent oak leaf and acorn gesso decorated period frame. SIZE: 12” x 20”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-29371 (3000-5000)
