SET OF 5 WINDSOR PAINT-DECORATED SIDE CHAIRS. Late 18th/early 19th century. Each chair with stepped tablet crest paint-decorated with a floral and fruit spray above seven turned bent spindles flanked by conforming stiles, joined to the shaped plank seat raised on simulated bamboo splayed legs joined by a conforming box stretcher. All in a cream paint. SIZE: Each: 35″ h. of back. CONDITION: All with slight and minimal wear and paint loss. One chair with slight damage at end of crest at stiles. 9-99069 (1,500-3,000)
