RHODE ISLAND SACK-BACK WINDSOR ARMCHAIR IN BLACK PAINT. Last quarter 18th century. Bowed crest rail above seven spindles through a medial rail ending in flat shaped hand grips above shaped chestnut saddle seat, raised on splayed reel- and baluster-turned legs joined by swelled and reel-turned H-form stretcher. SIZE: 37-1/2″ h. of back x 17-3/4″ h. of seat. CONDITION: Old black paint with some gold accents intact with minor touch ups to black. Otherwise very good. 9-99381 (1,800-2,400)
