LALIQUE CIRE PERDUE COVERED VASE. Exceptional cire perdue covered vase has frosted body with a single band of deeply impressed running dogs on both the lid and shoulder of the vase. A line drawing is shown in the R. Lalique Catalog Raisonne by Felix Marcilhac, fig. CP173 on pg. 1006. Vase is signed on the underside in lightly etched block letters “Lalique” and “64-19”. SIZE: 5-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: Richard Payne Estate, Seal Cove, Maine. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor chips to lip of vase and outer edge of cover.
