NELSON BOREN (American, 1952-) “WRESTLING WITH MY SADDLE”. Outstanding large watercolor shows a cowboy wearing a U S Flag style shirt and leather chaps with grayish/black hat. He bends over and grasping onto his saddle. Signed lower right. Housed in a molded wood frame with wide linen matte having a gilt liner. This accomplished western artist is represented in the Whitney Museum of Western Art in Cody, WY amongst others and considered one of the finer contemporary western artists of the times.
