NATIVE AMERICAN NAVAHO RUG OR WEAVING. Late 19th century. Extremely rare and patriotic weaving of the American flag with the “USA” over the flag, the S being woven backwards. Red, grays, browns and black on a buff or light brown field. SIZE: 19″l x 18″w. CONDITION: One side with colors sun faded, one side very true and brilliant. Two 2″ x 1/2″ holes and one 3/4″ x 1/2″ hole, all in the field just below top border, plus several 1/4″ holes (4-6) in other areas of the light brown field. 1-27514 (300-500)
