FINE SHERATON MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE ATTRIBUTED TO GEORGE WOODRUFF. Second quarter 19th century, New York. The rectangular top with hinged double elliptic leaves, all with reeded edges above the conforming frieze, fitted with a single drawer with cockbeaded edges opposing a sham drawer, flanked by rectangular reeded panels. Raised on tapering cylindrical reeded ring-turned legs with onion feet on brass capped casters. Note: Purchased from “Ona Curran Antiques, Schenectady, New York, February 1978”.
