CONTEMPORARY NAUTICAL STAINED GLASS WINDOW. Contemporary nautical stained glass window by Somers Stained Glass shows sailboat in choppy water against a stormy sky. The white sails are done in highly textured drapery glass and set against a sky of red, blue, amber and white with plated back panels of heavily mottled blue. The ocean is done in rippled glass of blue, green and turquoise. The window has amber stylized flower design jewels in the corners and centers of the ornamental border. The window is framed with a heavy bronze edge. Window is signed on applied bronze tag “Original Somers Stained Glass Deer Park NY John Malott and dated 6/23/04. SIZE: 35-7/8″ w x 42” t.
