WILLIAM HART (American, 1823-1894) FISHING NEAR ALBANY, NEW YORK. Oil on canvas summer scene shows a boy with wooden fishing pole fishing at the base of a small falls on a river lined with trees and sandy banks. Three birds fly in a blue and white cloud sky. Housed in what may be its original period fancy gesso decorated gilt frame with gilt liner. The liner having a gilt artist plaque with title. Unsigned. SIZE: 16″ x 29-1/2″. CONDITION: Small patch to reverse with minor inpainting, very good. 9-96992 (2,000-4,000)
