PAIR OF GALLE MINIATURE CUPS. Wonderful pair of Galle tumblers are done in amber glass with lightly ribbed bodies and snake-like applied amber glass handles. Each cup is brightly enameled with a thistle in bloom as well as one thistle flower that has gone to seed. To depict the thistle gone to seed, there is a white interior, hand-painted puff ball. One cup is signed “Galle Nancy”, the other unsigned. SIZE: 2-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-66686 (1,000-1,500)
