CARL PHILIPP WEBBER (American, 1850-1921) FROM THE FARM TO THE MARKET. Fine oil on canvas landscape shows a three-member family leaving via a dirt road with wheelbarrow and basket full of produce. Their farm has a large house with two barns, all shaded by large trees. The family passes a small pond on their way to the market. All seen under an expansive sky of white and light gray clouds with blue openings. Signed bottom right. Housed in a modern gold gilt frame. The back stretcher having original label with artist name and partially obscured title. SIZE: 24″ x 36″. CONDITION: Very good, relined with minor inpainting. 9-97752 (3,000-5,000)
