These represent a smaller size sometimes purchased by officers on the commercial market and measure approx 1-1/4″ wide by 3-1/4″ long. The pale yellow fields are surrounded by borders consisting of gold bullion edged with gilded brass wire. They are sewn to rectangular patches of dark blue fabric backed with white cotton fabric.
