HANDEL ARTS & CRAFTS TABLE LAMP. Arts & Crafts leaded and painted shade is overlaid with a floral and foliage design. The style of this pattern represents the epitome of the Arts & Crafts period. The slag panels have a beautiful earthen coloration in hues of greens and browns while the floral pattern is brilliant white and foliage is emerald green. This shade rests atop a pottery lamp base attributed to Rookwood, in brilliant yellow with an embossed floral and foliage design. The base is finished with original Handel hardware including sockets, acorn pull chains, top cap and finial. The yellow of the base plays against the bright yellow glass used to back the white floral design. Shade is signed in the ring “Handel” as well as in between two panels of glass.
