E. MICHEL CARVED VASE. Spectacular E. Michel vase is magnificently carved with three nude women representing the 3 Graces; one supporting a cherub with torches in each hand on her shoulder. One of the other female figures is carrying a garland of flowers while the third is carrying a quiver of arrows. They are surrounded by puffy red clouds. Back of the vase is decorated with a beautifully carved flying cherub with a laurel wreath on its head and a palm branch in his hand. Vase is signed underneath the three graces “E. Michel”. SIZE: 11-1/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-61394 (20,000-30,000)
