NEWCOMB COLLEGE ART POTTERY VASE. Highly unusual red to purple glaze on an elongated inverted trumpet-shaped vase is decorated with an Arts and Crafts stylized flower pattern. Signed “M”, with typical “NC” monogram. Also has a “B” inside of a circle, the initials “CL” for Cynthia Littlejohn, 1912 and also has the mark “FN41”. SIZE: 10-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with one small crazing line to interior of vase, approximately 3″ down which does not go through to exterior. 5-62760 (4,000-6,000)
