ROOKWOOD SILVER OVERLAY ART POTTERY VASE. Rare and unusual organic form vase has a leaf and berry design surrounding the entire vase. Colors used are a multitude of greens and other earthen hues set on a deep copper, brown, green and orange ground. Vase also has a twisted effect in the mold and a scalloped rim finished with a silver basket weave pattern overall. Signed on the underside with the Rookwood logo having 6 flames, “6”, “12”, “A” and a “W”. SIZE: 8-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ across. CONDITION: Good, but with a star crack to the body, visible on the inside. There is also one small separation to silver on upper rim and light crazing overall consistent with age. 5-62666 (700-1,000)
