EARLY AMERICAN THREE-TIER SPOON RACK. Circa 1800, Pennsylvania. The peaked molded crest joined to the backboard drilled for hanging applied with three molded shelves, each with four cutout spoon holders above a simple scrolled base. The whole in Indian-red paint over original red. SIZE: 21″ h x 9-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Structurally very good, the poplar wood painted surfaces with craquelure and alligatoring with age appropriate minor abrasions. 9-29161 (1,200-1,600)
