This 1883 patented printed flag, measuring 27″ x 18″, is similar to figure 527 in “Thread of History” but this example is printed in reverse with field on right. This variation is mentioned by Collins. James Blaine ran unsuccessfully for President along with John Logan against Grover Cleveland in 1884. CONDITION: Overall very good and solid.
