FINE STATE OF MAINE SHERATON PAINT-DECORATED WASH STAND. 1820-1840. Paris, Maine. Grain and paint-decorated wash stand with 3/4 splash guard centering cut out for jug and basin and cups on square supports centering a medial shelf. Frieze fitted with single drawer continuing to square tapered legs. Painted-decoration of flowering branch on splash guard and wheat filled urn on drawer front and decorated overall with yellow and green line borders. SIZE: 40-1/2″ h x 20″ w x 15-3/4″ d. CONDITION: With all original surfaces, brass hardware original, very good overall. 9-24790 (1,000-1,500)
