THOMAS H. WILLIS (American, 1850-1925) RED HULLED SCHOONER WITH TWO YACHTS. Needlework, silk, velvet and oil on canvas nautical scene shows a red hulled two-mast schooner with eight figures on deck flying American flag. A two-mast green hulled sailing yacht is seen off stern and a steam yacht flying American flag is seen off bow. Signed lower right with artist monogram “TW”. Housed in its gold liner (missing shadowbox). SIZE: 14″ x 22″. PROVENANCE: Richard Paine Estate, Seal Cove, Maine. CONDITION: Very good. 9-92545 (2,000-3,000)
