18″, (46 CM), UNMARKED F. G. FASHION DOLL. French bisque poupee with swivel head on separate bisque shoulder plate, marked (4) on fully articulated wooden body including ankle joint. She has a closed mouth, blue glass stationary eyes, pierced ears, and wears a pale blue two-piece walking suit trimmed in ivory silk lace. She has an antique blonde mohair wig over cork pate. Lorgnette in hands, missing glass, and an antique straw bonnet with black velvet lace and cloth flower decoration. The shoes are antique white leather with low heals, but probably from the 1910 era. She is accompanied by an 18″ parasol of printed cotton with silk ribbon fringe with wooden cane handle. Also included is a pair of antique beige leather gloves and silk purse. CONDITION: The body retains its original painted finish with slight wear on hands and joints.
