SHERATON GRAIN PAINTED AND DECORATED CHEST OF DRAWERS. 2nd quarter, 19th century. State of Maine. The rectangular top with turret corners above the conforming case fitted with four long drawers, flanked by three quarter column ring-turned pilasters on ring and baluster turned legs terminating in ball feet. The case with mahogany grain painted surfaces, paint-decorated with simulated string inlays. SIZE: 41″h x 42″w (overall) x 19-1/2″d ( overall). CONDITION: Structurally very good. With replaced hardware of the period. Legs and backboards original. Overall good. 9-25029 (600-1,200)
