LARGE GALLE ENAMELED VASE. Beautiful example of early Galle enamel is done on a large bulbous dark amber vase with diagonal ribbing. Vase is enameled all over with stylized flowers, stems and leaves as well as butterflies in flight. Top of the neck is finished with a stylized geometric floral garland. Signed on the underside “E. Galle Nancy”. SIZE: 9-3/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Private Collection of Dorothy Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-61777 (2,000-4,000)
