LARGE AMERICAN SPREAD-WING EAGLE WEATHERVANE. Late 19th century. The full-bodied copper and zinc eagle with open beak perched on a ball mounted on an arrow. SIZE: 28″ overall h. x 38″ overall l. Wingspan: 36″. PROVENANCE: Richard Paine Estate, Seal Cove, ME. CONDITION: Re-gilded over original surface, proper right leg detached from talons, creased dent to arrow feather.
