MONUMENTAL DAUM NANCY BLACKBIRD VASE. Monumental size vase depicts blackbirds against background of falling snow. The birds are shown in various stages of flight as well as resting on the deciduous snow-covered trees set against a mottled sky blue background. Vase exhibits exceptional detail in both cameo work and enamel. Signed on the underside “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine to underside of foot. This is most likely the largest piece of Daum blackbird we have ever had the pleasure to offer. SIZE: 28″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-66084 (30,000-40,000)
