*SCARCE WINCHESTER MODEL 64 DELUXE CARBINE. SN 1096170. Cal. 30WCF, 20″ rnd bbl, 2/3 mag, matted front ramp with gold bead sight and hood, blank in rear seat. Left side of bbl is marked “WINCHESTER / PROOF STEEL – MODEL 64 – WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK – 30W.C.F.” Right side “MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. / NEW HAVEN. CONN.” Standard receiver, left side equipped with Redfield peep sight. Mounted with straight grain walnut, checkered pistol grip, Winchester hard rubber grip cap, checkered steel buttplate, inlet swivel base 2-1/2″ from toe. Standard forend with checkered side panels, nose cap with swivel base. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as probably factory restored. All metal surfaces retain virtually all of a factory blue with correct polishing and sharp, crisp lettering. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks and retains a factory finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a couple minor handling marks and retains a fine factory finish.
