UNSIGNED (Late 19th Century) MOONLIGHT SILHOUETTES. Oil on canvas evening scene shows seven two-mast fishing boats in full sail sailing away from viewer towards a full moon shown brightly in a black cloud and blue sky. The viewer is drawn to the reflection of the moon which casts its light on the small waves. Housed in a black molded wood frame. SIZE: 24″ x 40-1/4″.
