IMPORTANT QUEEN ANNE MAPLE AND PINE TAVERN TABLE. Second quarter 18th century, Massachusetts. The single board rectangular pine top with breadboard ends projecting above the conforming molded frieze, fitted with a single thumb-molded drawer with mushroom pull, raised on baluster and ring-turned legs, joined by rectangular box stretcher terminating in compressed ball feet. SIZE: 24-3/4″ h x 38″ l x 21″ d. CONDITION: Surfaces retain first Indian red-brown paint, top with original forged nails. Table remains in very good overall untouched condition, with age appropriate wear and staining to top, drawer bottom has been reset. 9-27793 (3,000-4,000)
