HANDEL CHRYSANTHEMUM TABLE LAMP. Extremely rare Handel table lamp has reverse painted shade with pink chrysanthemums against a green background of leaves and stems, all with the chipped ice exterior finish. Shade rests on a bulbous base with two scrolled handles at the shoulder and a riser leading to a three socket cluster. Base is finished with a rich brown patina and green highlights. Shade is signed “Handel 6739″ on inside near lower rim. Base is unmarked. SIZE: Shade is 16″ dia. Lamp is 22” t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-61998 (6,000-8,000)
