*WINCHESTER MODEL 95 SADDLE RING CARBINE. SN 423309. Cal .30 Army. 22″ bbl with Sheard brass bead front sight, filler screws in the holes for the rear sight. Second model fluted side receiver with saddle ring and early style Lyman WR-WT receiver sight w/o windage adjustment. Left side of receiver is marked “MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN. CON. U.S.A./PATENTED NOV.5.95.NOV.12.95.AUG.17.97.JAN.25.98.AUG.23.98.AUG.6.1907”. Receiver ring marked with circle WP Proof mark and .30 ARMY cal marking. Steel trapdoor carbine buttplate. Stocked in oil finished straight grain walnut, carbine buttstock, grooved carbine style forend and hand guard. CONDITION: Fine. Excellent bbl blue with very slight wear at the muzzle. Bright receiver blue with slight edge wear spots fading to patina. Lever has blue/patina mix. Buttplate has overall patina with some blue in the protected areas. Stock and forend are sound with very good orig finish and normal handling marks. Crisp action with very good bore. 4-36897 DS3 (3,500-5,000)
