NEW YORK SHERATON CARVED MAHOGANY DRESSING TABLE. First quarter of the 19th Century. In two parts, the rectangular mirror swiveling on two acanthus carved columns headed by spool and acorn finials, joined to a deck of three aligned drawers, stepped back on the lower case fitted with a pair of aligned drawers above a long drawer with cockbeaded edges; all with figured mahogany drawer fronts. The whole raised on cylindrical acanthus carved legs joined by a medial shelf, raised on turned ball feet. CONDITION: Structurally sound with good color and patina.
