ROCOCO CARVED AND GILT MIRROR. Late 18th/early 19th century. The rectangular mirror plate within a gilt frame carved overall with floral garlands amidst scrolling leaf tips. The crest carved with floral-filled basket within a molded cartouche flanked by foliate ears with volutes. SIZE: 60″ h x 38″ w. PROVENANCE: Collection and shop contents of Linda and the late Vito Peri (owners of the Blue Dolphin Antique Shop, Northport, Maine). CONDITION: Gilding intact, with old repairs to crest.
