*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 TAKEDOWN RIFLE. SN 274608. Cal .30 WCF 26″ half rnd bbl. with combination front sight and Winchester express rear sight with short yardage leaves. Half magazine standard blue receiver with case colored hammer,trigger and lever. Case colored crescent rifle buttplate. Stock and forend of American black walnut with some figure. CONDITION: Very fine overall. 95% bbl blue with light edge wear and handling marks. 90% receiver blue mixing with patina on the edges and front portion. Hammer, trigger and lever with dark case color mixing with silver on the edges. Sound stock and forend with very good finish showing normal wear and handling marks. Crisp mechanics and very good bore. ACCESSORIES: Canvas takedown gun case with red Winchester marking on the bbl portion on the case. Marked “A/24” on the leather locking strap with the buckle pulled from retainer. Overall condition of the case is fair/good with initials “L.M.B” in black ink on case end. 4-40863 DS7 (2,750-4,750)
