FINE SHERATON INLAID MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE. Early 19th century. Boston, School of John Seymour. The rectangular figured mahogany top with ovolo corners and hinged leaves, and serpentine edges, all with contrasting string inlay above the rectangular frieze fitted with a single drawer and with a figured maple panel within a mahogany cross-banded and string inlaid border, and with an opposing sham drawer, raised on tapered ring-turned reeded cylindrical legs and ringed cuffs continuing to slender turnip feet. SIZE: 28-3/4″ h x 21-1/2″ w closed x 41″ w. Open 32″ d. CONDITION: Professionally re polished and restored. With good mellow colors. Brass handle, otherwise very good. 9-20093 (2,500-3,500)
