ANTIQUE FRENCH MODERATOR LAMP. Rare French porcelain moderator lamp with rare original chimney. Porcelain base with bulbous blown out lower portion and narrow constricted neck on upper portion. Having two colorful vignettes on the base; a young Georgian lass on one side and lassie on the reverse. Gilt highlight retains old moderator burner, all mounted on a brass metal base. SIZE: 20” to top of burner (not including chimney). CONDITION: The gilt border decoration on porcelain base is worn, otherwise generally good. 5-62579 (350-550)
