Unsigned, antique handsome 19th/early 20th century painting depicts a small wagon train in spruce falls with majestic snow capped mountains in the background. Frontiersman with musket is approaching and an Indian who has just shot a large deer. Housed in a contemporary frame with contemporary brass title “Oregon Trail”. A great early Western Theme scene.
