*VERY RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 MUSKET. SN 699236. Cal .44 WCF. 30″ rnd bbl with integral musket front sight with copper replacement blade. Adjustable musket rear sight. Bbl marked “MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO./NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A. PATENTED OCTOBER 14.1884.” Stock of straight grain walnut with carbine/musket buttplate, musket length forend with three bbl bands. Stock has inleted swivel with integral swivel on middle band. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl has 80% blue with wear in front of the rear sight. Receiver has good blue on the sides mixing with silver on the edges and bottom. Lever has traces of case colors in the protected areas. Sound wood with normal wear and handling marks. Very good bore, crisp mechanics. 4-40725 DS11 (7,000-10,000)
