NICE NEW ENGLAND PAINT DECORATED FIRE BUCKET. First quarter 19th century. The leather bucket with original painted surfaces in green with a scrolled foliate plaque in black and chrome yellow with the family name “J. YOUNG”. Fitted with a leather handle on iron rings. SIZE: 18-1/2″ h overall x 8-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: All elements original and untouched. Some stitching losses to bottom, but stable and with age appropriate loss to painted surface.
