ARGY ROUSSEAU PATE-DE-VERRE HUNTING SCENE BOWL. Wonderful pate-de-verre bowl has hunting scene of deer, boar and birds with arrows showering down upon them. The figures are done in purple-blue glass against a mottled yellow and cream background. Bowl is finished at top and bottom with a purple glass rope border. Signed on the side “G. Argy Rousseau”. SIZE: 6-1/2″ dia x 4-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Private Collection of Dorothy Lee Jones. CONDITION: 3/4″ long chip on edge of foot below signature. 5-61715 (700-1,000)
