NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE. First quarter 19th century, possibly Connecticut. The rectangular single board top with bowed edges joined to hinged demilune leaves, all edges string inlaid above the conforming frieze. Fitted with a single drawer opposing a simulated drawer, raised on square tapered legs headed by oval inlaid patera, continuing to pendant bellflower inlays, crossbanded at the angles.
