BIRD’S EYE MAPLE TANTALUS. First quarter 19th century, probably England. The rectangular cabinet fitted with three molded bottles each with gilt-scrolled letter designating the type of liquor within set in compartments behind a double-hinged lidded compartment fitted for small glasses and bottles above a compartmented long drawer on a plinth with sloping sides. Tantalus has been repolished, the three bottles missing stoppers, the shot glasses and small bottles unmatched. SIZE: 13″ h x 13″ w x 10-1/4″ d.
